Gallery and Exhibition Design Course: Florence University of the Arts

Final Student Exhibit , Fall 2024: “Expressions of Beauty”
Curated by a classroom of Gallery Design students, the exhibition titled “Expressions of Beauty” was a semester-long project that focused on how to use a space effectively to design an exhibition that was both aesthetically cohesive within its environment and academically accessible to a broad audience. The exhibition was featured in the student run magazine: Blending (Pgs. 7-9).
The gallery space was a public, street-facing area that also served as a restaurant and café. Art students submitted their photography for the show, and it was the responsibility of students like myself to curate the submitted artworks, ensuring they were displayed in a cohesive and engaging manner within the space.

The gallery space is pictured above.
